Wine AdvocateThe 2009 Pinot Noir was matured for 14 months in French oak barrels, 25% new. Pale to medium ruby colored, it displays aromas of kirsch, warm cranberries and cinnamon stick over nuances of dried mint, tree bark and violets, Medium bodied and nicely structured with a medium level of very fine tannins and refreshing acidity, it fills the mouth with expressive red berry and earth flavors, finishing long. Drink this one now to 2016.
Wine SpectatorWhite pepper, dried lavender, citrus peel and mineral aromatics punctuate the strawberry and wild cherry flavors, with good intensity and a firm side. Drink now through 2015. 900 cases made.
