Connetable Talbot Saint Julien 2014
Wine AdvocateThe Connétable Talbot 2014 has a rather dusty bouquet that feels rustic. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly hard tannin and the finish falls away too quickly. This desperately needs to "fill out" during its oak maturation.
VinousThe 2014 Connetable de Talbot is an attractive, open-knit Saint-Julien to drink now and over the next few years, while the red stone fruit and floral notes remain fresh. Silky tannins add to the wine's considerable near-term appeal. This is a very nice second wine.
