Sartarelli Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore Balciana 2010Beautiful and intense straw yellow color with nuances of golden yellow. Intense on the nose with hints of ripe fruits, tropical and citrus fruits, touches of spice, liquorice root, almonds and honey. It is strong on the palate but at the same time fresh and flavorful with a persistent taste and smell. It is full-bodied with an intense harmoniously balanced flavor, and despite the high alcoholic content, it is extremely agreeable to the palate.

Partner with; grilled or roasted red meats, duck with olives, Bresse Chicken, country salad, goats cheese, melon and strawberries in the summer months. New oak is not used at this domaine. The resulting wine is sturdy, braced with sweet, dusty tannins, and is intensely aromatic with notes of crushed white pepper, oriental spices and game. .
